Girl Scout Membership

Girl Scouts is open to ALL girls between the ages of 5-17, who:

• accept the Girl Scout Promise
• accept the Girl Scout Law
• pay annual GSUSA membership dues

At Middle Mississippi, there are a variety of program pathways in Girl Scouts, flexible to meet the needs of contemporary girls, while guiding them to discover, lead and take action in a physically and emotionally safe, girls-only environment.

• In-school and After-school Troops  
• Special Interest Groups
• Council-sponsored Events and Activities 
• Summer Resident and Day Camps

Girl Scouting gives girls from all backgrounds a chance to develop their potential, make friends and become a vital part of their communities.

Adult Membership

Girl Scout membership is granted to women or men, at least 18 years of age, who accept the principles and beliefs as stated in the preamble of the Girl Scout Constitution and who pay their annual GSUSA membership dues.

To join, contact us at 601.366.0607 or 1.800.898.4475.  Perhaps you would want to volunteer as a leader, assistant leader, trainer, workshop coordinator, mentor/advisor, fundraiser, first-aider, camp staff, cultural awareness instructor, nature consultant, or guest speaker.  What better way than to join an over 90-year tradition, mission and philosophy that has proven we all benefit when Girl Scouts grow in strength, competence and learning.  Please visit the Volunteer Section of this website..

Adult Lifetime Membership

Lifetime Girl Scout membership is granted to anyone 18 years of age or older or a high school graduate or equivalent who makes a one-time membership dues payment.  For more information on lifetime status, contact the membership registrar at the Girl Scout Council of Middle Mississippi at 601.366.0607 or 1.800.898.4475.

Membership registration forms are available at the Metro Service Center or upon request.
