The mission in Girl Scouting is simple. "Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place." The motivating force in Girl Scouting is spiritual. The ways in which members identify and fulfill their spiritual beliefs are personal and private. The core elements of the Girl Scout experience are: patriotism, citizenship, and community service through local, national and global service and action. Our goal is that every girl will: - develop to her full individual potential.
- relate to others with increasing understanding, skill, and respect.
- develop values to guide her actions and to provide the foundation for sound decision making.
- contribute to the improvement of society through the use of her abilities and leadership skills, working in cooperation with others.
Our voice: We are a premier voice for girls and an expert on their growth and development. Girl Scout Membership Requirements
